When the opening lead is tabled and the dummy comes down, 
Declarer should stop and consider the following items.
1.  Am I in a good contract?
2.  Will the field reach this contract?
3.  How many tricks can I count?
4.  Which honor cards am I missing?
5.  What can I assume from the bidding?
6.  What does the opening lead tell me?

The play to trick one and trick two often have a huge impact
